Apparently when I issued my challenge to winter, there was a slight misunderstanding. When I said "bring it," I was talking about snow. What I got was cold. Really really cold. So very cold.
Yesterday when I took Layla out in the morning, with the windchill it was -8 degrees. This morning it was -10. I learned my lesson from the day before and added a couple layers. For the record, I was still cold. Really really cold. It finally warmed up to a balmy 20 degrees later this afternoon.
So, in closing I'd like to apologize to anyone caught in the middle of my challenge to winter. I just wanted a little snow. I didn't mean to hurt anyone. I'm sorry it got cold. Really really cold. So very cold.
Oh, and for the record, it is supposed to snow tonight -- 90% chance apparently. I don't think it's going to be much, but I'm still looking forward to it. I'll report back if it's anything crazy.
