March Madness

I bet you think I'm going to write about college basketball. Ha! Nope. By March Madness I mean the madness that has been my March. What a crazy busy month this has been. Yes, that's my weak attempt at justifying my lack of blog action lately (which my dear sweet hubby ever so gently brought to my attention).

My February ended with a trip in KY and then I got sick. It took me about a week to bounce back from that and then we welcomed Muffin, Sean, and Joye into our home for the weekend. As you might suspect, I did have a few beers that weekend and brought the next week in a little more tired than usual.

That was a crazy week at work then I left Thursday night for Atlanta. I'm sorry I didn't tell everyone I was in town, but it was a quick trip to see my mom and dad. I left Sunday, got home late and then back to work Monday. Next time I'm down we'll all get together. I'll post more about my trip later and include some cute pictures I took.

So that brings us to this weekend. It's sleeting outside. Wednesday it was 72 degrees and absolutely gorgeous outside. Now it's sleeting. And it's supposed to snow tomorrow. I really don't know what to make of that or what to say ... or think, for that matter. I was really hoping the beautiful weather we had all week would carry into the weekend and we could go to D.C. or something. Oh well, I need a lazy weekend anyway.

One last thing, I should pay off my title at little better and at least tell you my Final Four picks for the men's tournament: Florida, Georgetown, Ohio State and UCLA. And Florida bests Georgetown for a repeat championship. Sorry, Gators, now that I picked you in my bracket, you're officially doomed.
