We did end up checking out that Midnight Madness thing in Annapolis last week. It was pretty cute. We didn't get much, but it was a nice time. Oh, and Andy took my picture in an elf hat. Always a good time.
Andy wanted this picture, but let's be honest, it was just a matter of time before
I put the hat on. No, I did not buy it - that's where I draw the line.
I can do this, no problem!
No really, I can do this.
So close!
Yes! Now I can chew on this for 10 whole minutes before I destroy it!
It was a nice quiet evening complete with eggnog. Tomorrow morning we head up to New York for Christmas, with a short stop in Binghamton to have lunch with a friend I haven't seen in a while. Looking forward to the weekend, although it's very weird to not be in Georgia at all this time of year.
I am sad that Layla has to spend the holiday in doggie jail and Oliver will have to hold down the fort here all alone. He's pretty independent, but I hate leaving him alone with nobody to check on him. Maybe Santa will drop by -- even though we didn't hang our stockings -- and keep Oliver company for a while. I love Santa.
Anyway, I'll doubt I'll be blogging again before then -- so have a fabulous Christmas!
