When Owen was born I put a hold on all work trips for at least a year. But a month or so ago they called and told me the next trip was in Atlanta, so Andy and I jumped at the chance to bring Owen home to meet everyone.
Last week, we packed up what felt like a million bags and headed to the airport. Andy was amazing hauling everything and leaving me with just the baby and diaper bag to worry about. And thank God for Amanda and Amy who loaned me a car seat, pack and play and stroller so we didn't have to haul all that down too.
Owen was a champ on the airplane. He cried only for a few minutes and mostly slept the rest of the time. We got there Tuesday night and despite being tired, he was really good.
Wednesday we spent the day just visiting and Thursday I had to go to Atlanta to interview families at a food bank for a client. Andy and Owen hung out with Grandma and Grandpa while I worked.

Friday Andy and I spent a couple hours at the Chattahoochee Nature Center visiting Muffin beforehand. Owen liked what Muffin called the Vegas Fish -- which lights up. His eyes got wide every time we pushed the button and it was so cute :)

Later Friday we had an early Thanksgiving and all the family came over for a big turkey dinner and some photo ops with the little one.

Sunday we headed back and Owen was even better on the plane than on the way out to Georgia. We had a great time and hope to get back down there again soon!
