Went to the doctor yesterday for my regular check-up and to ask questions about the ultrasound last week. All is well. She said that sometimes the baby's growth just slows down and there's a wide range of reasons. Among them are pre-existing conditions in mom (diabetes and other illnesses), placenta problems, cord deficiencies, and a host of other things that I don't have. Everything is functioning as it should so it just means that I need to rest more -- just like the other doctor told me. She said there's absolutely nothing to worry about and the baby looks great. His vitals are all where they should be and he moves around all the time, which is a great sign too.
The only issue is that the little guy just refuses to turn head down. Apparently he's very happy head up. So my doctor went ahead and scheduled the c-section. Baby's birthday will be August 3!
It's weird knowing in advance but it does make the planning easier. So that's it for now. I'll update more as the big day gets closer!

Post belly shots!!! WE want to see how you and little man look before he gets here. I can't believe I haven't sent your package yet. I'm sending it now...unwrapped. I had wanted to get it all wrapped up before sending it...but as you can see that never happened. If I don't ship it now, he'll be here and won't have it!!! Can't wait to see more pics...and the nursery is adorable!!!
He will be the only August birthday on the family calendar- unless you go into labor before then . . . :)
