The little guy made it tricky for the tech to get all the measurements because he just wouldn't be still for a minute. Pretty typical for him since I feel him moving around all day. She said he's quite the active boy and that he seems fascinated by his little hands. The whole time he kept looking at them and playing with them.
At the end of the appointment when the doctor came in to review all the measurements and take a look at everything himself, I got a nice surprise. He put 4D images on the screen. I don't know what makes it 4D, but that's what they call it. Apparently it has something to do with real-time movement, but anyway, it's really cool. Andy and I hadn't planned on getting any 4D imaging done because it costs a good bit of money if it's an elective thing and we figured we'd just wait to seem him when he's born. So when the doctor put them up on the screen I was really surprised. I didn't even know they had that technology there. When I asked him about it, he said "Yeah, we're only really supposed to used it when it's medically relevant, but hey, it's fun, so what the heck." I really like him :)

Here's one of the 4D images. In this one, he's kind of looking down and he has his hand on his cheek.

In this one, he's looking up and it's a profile shot. You can see his chubby little baby cheek if you know what you're looking at.
I know they can be sort of hard to make out so if I can get one of my graphic buddies here to help out, I'll see if I can post another blog with callouts by the picture so you can see what's what.
Then I'll finally post pictures from the Georgia baby shower and our trip to NY.
