Little O in the Big City

Just a few short days after our return from Arizona, we made a short drive up to New York City to visit Bonnie, Joey and Polly. Owen slept most of the way and was ready to hit the town when we got there.

First thing we took the kids down the street to a park that looks like it's straight out of Sesame Street. There were quite a few kids there and Owen and Polly had a blast.

After the park it was dinner time (but we hit a great Brooklyn bakery first for some awesome cookies). By the time we finished dinner, the kids were toast and bedtime bound.

Despite the abrupt 3 a.m. departure (thanks to Owen screaming for 3 hours), we had a great time. We'll try it again when Owen's a little better sleeper if Bonnie and Joey will have us back :)
