I've always known that motherhood would be an awesome experience but I really had no idea just how awesome. Every day is a new adventure and watching Owen grow up is truly amazing.
He's full of so much energy and curiosity and love -- the coolest little guy imaginable :)
For his first birthday we decided to have a big cookout and basically invite everyone we know here in Maryland. It was a great turnout and we were so excited to have both sets of Grandparents make it here for the party.
Owen enjoyed his cake but had to take a nap before presents. Took a lot of great pictures!
