A couple weeks ago a new baby started daycare in Owen's class (The Guppies). Her name is Agnes and apparently she and Owen became immediately attached. She's an older woman (almost 9 months old) and so she can crawl and stand up pretty well. I'm told she likes to crawl over to Owen and sit in his lap. When she does, he starts to giggle and then throws his arms around her and they both topple over in a giggle fit. I wish they could capture that on video!
Today I went to drop him off and little Aggie was the only other baby there. She was eating a bottle when we got there but when she saw Little O, she pushed the bottle away and started smiling and clapping. It was so cute!
The teacher put them both on the floor together and I watched them interact for a few minutes before I left. They kept reaching for each other and would take turns grabbing the other's hands or feet. I didn't realize at such an early age two little ones could have affection for each other that's so obvious. It's really adorable. I'll have to bring my camera next time.
